The Nissan Altima is back and better than ever
Nissan has made its name in the automotive sphere by proving its reliability and performance at an affordable price point, and now the brand has shared news that is set to bring even more joy to the Christmas period.
Despite one of its most popular sedan models finding itself at the centre of rumors, Nissan has confirmed the Altima will, in fact, live to see another year in production.

The Altima was projected to exit the production line after this year, according to reports, but after releasing new specifications and price points, those rumors have proven to be just talk.
For the 2026 model year, the Altima returns with both an SV grade and a sporty SR grade.
The SV grade starts with 17-inch alloy wheels alongside a remote engine start, and then more exciting features come into play.
In fact, the sedan can be equipped with the SV Special Edition package or the SV Premium package to really spice things up.

Here’s what you can add to each package for your own spin on the Altima
The Nissan Altima SV special edition comes with dual-zone automatic climate control and a moonroof, with the SV premium adding 19-inch alloys and dual-zone automatic climate control.
The Altima SR is a slight step up from the SV grade with paddle shifters and sport-tuned suspension.
Plus, with sport seats, gloss black exterior trim, and sport exhaust tips, it’s the ultimate choice for fans of sports cars.
The engine also reportedly stays the same as the 2.5 four-cylinder that the model has had before. The horsepower output sits at 182.
As it stands, the ticket price for the Altima stands at $27,580, with both grades also coming with front-wheel drive or Intelligent All-Wheel Drive.
In fact, the Altima SR is available in the colors Gray Sky Pearl, Tactical Green Metallic, Pearl White TriCoat, and Super Black.
So, the Nissan Altima is set to stay another day, and with the impressive elements on offer, will certainly be snapped up quickly.
