One of the rarest cars in the world was spotted in all its glory on Sunset Boulevard
When it comes to supercars, there are endless choices on offer for gearheads to call their own.
However, some like to go the extra mile and try and source one of the rarest cars in the world
One man spotted a rare car in the wild and simply couldn’t help but comment on its beauty.
The car in question? The McLaren P1.
“Casually driving down Sunset Boulevard [McLaren P1],” explained Reddit user bitpartmozart13 as they shared pictures.
The McLaren P1 only had a limited production line, landing the title of one of the rarest cars in the world.
“The strictly limited production run of 375 was sold within months of orders opening. In October 2013, customer deliveries began, and the P1™ became the first hybrid supercar in the world,” explained McLaren itself.
And, the numbers certainly do not lie.
The car can reach a whopping 217 mph and is able to pump out a maximum power of 916NPS, alongside a maximum torque of 900Nm.

“Every surface has been designed to work, every part given the same aerodynamic consideration as if it was part of an aircraft or a Formula 1 car,” detailed the manufacturer.
What did gearheads have to say about the sighting?
“Pretty cool to see a P1 not sitting in a climate-controlled garage and actually being used,” said one Reddit user.
“I drove my own T20 on that road,” remarked another.
“Casually, you say, was it just randomly there, all casual and demure?” a third remarked.
It’s no secret that the P1 is loved by gearheads all over the world.
For example, one man decided to take his $1.6M McLaren P1 to a little-known place where you can drive as fast as you want legally.
Plus, McLaren P1’s original designer even decided to call a Florida YouTuber who was restoring a flooded P1 to give him an offer.
What do you think of the McLaren P1? Would it ever be on your dream car wish list?
