This one-off gold Spyker C8 Double 12 comes with one of the most expensive options you can get on a car.

Jasper from Spyker opened up about his one-off gold car, which he initially saw on Instagram.

Although the former owner originally wasn’t interested in selling, Jasper would end up buying the car a few years later.

But as opulent as the car looks, that’s nothing compared to the super pricey option that came along with it.

Jasper spotted the car while browsing Instagram and saw that it was based in Prague.

When he reached out and asked if it was going for sale, he was told it wasn’t.

But Jasper had a good word put in with the owner, which paid off a few years later.

Jasper happily took ownership of the car, although its automatic gearbox was something of a disadvantage for him.

Among its features were heated seats, Kronos Swiss gauges and dials, and a beautiful interior.

“The only ugly part of the interior I thought was the yellow with black interior, which in my opinion didn’t match the gold,” he said.

But that wasn’t enough to rule out his buying the car blind, as he didn’t fly out to Prague to see it in person.

There was one thing that took him by surprise – a Louis Vuitton bag.

Not what you expect to see in a car, right?

Why was this Louis Vuitton bag there?

It turned out that there were five Louis Vuitton bags made for Spyker.

The two companies go way back – Spyker would race cars back in the 1900s with fitted luggage from the French fashion house.

Louis Vuitton made a set of custom luggage for the cars, which would become an extraordinarily rare feature.

Rumors circulated that it would cost around $116k to include.

Jasper approached the company to ask for a bag, but all they would build for him was a tool-kit, for which he was quoted $15,000.

Only 10 of these tool kits were ever made, one of which belongs to the King of Morocco.

Jasper uses this car as his daily driver, and has racked up more than 9,000 miles on the clock.

Louis Vuitton is one of the world’s leading fashion houses, so anything it puts its name to will make a splash.

That’s why it has a hotel in its name, but that’s not the only thing it’s lent its name to.

There’s also a Paint Can Bag, Face Masks, and a whole host of luxury goodies.

Even Rick Ross got in on the action by decking out his tank with seats inspired by the brand.
