If you liked the original Pagani Utopia, you’ll love the Pagani Utopia Roadster, because it’s an upgraded variant with some pretty cool offerings,

But – if you’re interested in purchasing one – it might be extremely difficult.

The automaker named the Roadster’s launch as ‘Act Three, Scene Two.’

It’s an appropriate title because it’s the brand’s second iteration of its third-gen hypercar, and we are here for it.

The Pagani Utopia Roadster is a work of art

The original Utopia was a well-liked coupé, but Pagani wanted something even better.

It had one key element missing, and that element shines ever so brightly in the Utopia Roadster.

You guessed it — it’s a removable roof for you to get the fresh air experience.

It’s not the first time we’ve seen a Roadster from the brand with a removable roof, but this hypercar is as unique as it gets.

However, the automaker didn’t just make the roof detachable but also did it with extreme craftsmanship.

The Italian carmaker reworked the carbo-titanium body to accommodate a pop-off roof without adding extra weight.

This is why the Pagani Utopia Roadster is the same weight as the Utopia.

We guess it will have to follow the same process as this Utopia to board a plane for transport.

Moreover, you also get a distinct key that is shaped like the hypercar, which sits on top of the center console.

Even the super-wealthy might struggle to get one

Another peculiar trait is the inclusion of a seven-speed manual transmission, which enthusiasts will absolutely love while pushing the Mercedes-AMG-powered twin-turbo 6.0-liter V12.

The Pagani Utopia Roadster, however, will be hard to get.

Although it seems like the perfect hypercar with a mix of modern and classic elements, the Italian automaker isn’t exactly the type to produce such art pieces in large numbers.

In fact, this edition will hold the record for the largest number of modern hypercars produced by the brand.

Don’t get excited though, it’s not a big number.

No more than 130 Utopia Roadster models will leave the factory.

These are more like collectible and rare models so that they can exist with a standard of luxury and exclusivity.

Pagani owners like this element, as evidenced by some earlier cars.

Someone even painted their Utopia coupé with actual moon dust to make it even rarer.

This low production rate means that it is possible that most units already have a customer’s name etched on them.

Even if they don’t, they most likely will by the time the automaker officially launches the Roadster at Monterey Car Week.

Still, despite the fact that most of us will never own one, it’s nice to look at them, isn’t it?
