This race car driver spent a fortune on a Pagani Zonda R, and even more money to convert his car into a wall piece for his condo in Miami.
High-profile racing drivers often make headlines for their car collections and, occasionally, for their art collections.
But, on this occasion, both things are involved.
But there’s a very important detail about the car we need to talk about.

How this guy turned his Zonda into a work of art
A while back, Indy Pro race car driver Pablo Pérez Companc had a crazy idea and decided to ‘park’ a Pagani Zonda R right in the middle of the living room of his Miami apartment.
And when we say ‘park’, what we mean is he actually turned his Zonda into a massive installation that also doubles as a room divider to separate his living room from his bedroom.
The result is an $8 million Miami condo with a seven-figure work of art.

What makes the whole thing even crazier is that this isn’t even a one-off as several people do this sort of thing.
Not long ago, an Australian businessman paid to have his McLaren Senna GTR hoisted to his penthouse back in 2023, while over in the US, a wealthy man from Seattle had his McLaren Elva lifted 48 stories.

No Pagani Zondas were harmed in the making of this wall

Part of the reason why he was allowed to do this is that he’s personal friends with Horacio Pagani himself.
With the help of the company’s founder, Companc was able to make his dream come true by having this Zonda hoisted to the top of his apartment complex and securely fixed on to his wall.
However, and this is important, we should point out that the spectacular vehicle that’s being relegated to little more than a dividing wall came straight from the Pagani production line, and it isn’t a road-going car.
Only a handful of Pagani Zonda Rs were made, and this isn’t one of them.
This – dare we say, ‘fortunately’ – is just an empty chassis.
