A guy in New Jersey just upgraded his Porsche 911 GT3 with a Porsche GT3 RS.

So far, so normal, except for the fact that he’s apparently doing this behind his wife’s back.

To be fair, the new car does look very similar to the old one – it’s even the same color.

But there are at least two obvious giveaways.

A man in New Jersey decided to replace his Porsche 911 GT3 with a Porsche 911 GT3 RS without telling his wife.

He’s convinced she’ll never know because these two supercars are virtually identical, which is true… but also not true.

They’re the same color, and they have similar wheels, but there are still a few giveaways.

The first thing that stands out is the rear wing because the GT3 RS’s wing is larger, taller, and made from composite materials. It’s also left unpainted, which means it is entirely black.

By contrast, the record-breaking GT3 has a smaller wing, and the base is painted the same color as the car.

In addition to that, the GT3 RS comes with massive stickers on the side.

You can’t really miss them.

There’s also something else, potentially a bigger issue. Because the GT3 RS in this spec generally comes with a black front hood, whereas the ‘normal’ GT3 doesn’t.

We said ‘potentially’ because we can’t really see the front of the car in the video. So there’s no way to know whether that’s the case in this case – pardon the repetition.

Either way, we’re going to assume his wife doesn’t care or know much about cars. And perhaps if she enquires about the wing, the hood color, or the stickers, he can just say they’re aftermarket add-ons.

The salesman who posted the video on Instagram asked his followers to comment whether they think she’s going to find out.

The answer is probably right there in the question, because there’s a very strong chance she’ll find out precisely because of this, possibly staged, video.

It was posted to an Instagram account with a huge following that belongs to a car dealer in a township in New Jersey with a population of just over 30,000 people.

She’s likely to see it, and if she does, she’ll surely recognize her husband’s car and voice.
