While in charge at the White House, President Obama welcomed NASCAR Champion Jimmie Johnson and his ‘spiffy-looking’ NO.48 Chevy up the drive and checked out what was under the hood.
Typically, the US President rides in the back of a luxury SUV, such as Cadillac One, nicknamed The Beast, for protection and comfort.
But that doesn’t mean that every POTUS loves these practical armored cars. In fact, it’s well known that they have their own tastes, and former head of state Barack Obama likes his cars with a lot of speed.
So much so that then-President Obama once invited NASCAR Sprint Cup champion Jimmie Johnson to the White House and went diving into the engine specs. Check out the video above!
