Brad Pitt new F1 movie

Everyone was in awe of Tom Cruise doing his own stunts for Top Gun: Maverick.

Fair play to him as it wasn’t just a couple either; the movie features tons of thrilling flying sequences and stunts.

Not to be outdone, Brad Pitt has announced he will perform his own stunts in his next movie.

Funnily enough, the two guys behind Top Gun: Maverick – Jerry Bruckheimer and Joseph Kosinski – are involved in Pitt’s forthcoming F1 movie.

They’ve set their sights on making the most accurate racing film of all time and, in order to do so, they’re forming a racing team.

The team will film on track for the last half of the 2023 season, with headliner Pitt set to be filmed driving actual F1 race cars.

That won’t be an easy feat, but Kosinski and his crew used lessons learned from the filming of Top Gun: Maverick to develop “the smallest moveable 6k camera ever.”

The camera will be used in Pitt’s new movie to capture exhilarating footage inside the cockpit of the team’s race car, which was designed by Mercedes.

On that note, seven-time F1 champ Sir Lewis Hamilton is serving as a consultant for the film, and has been in regular contact with Pitt to help him prepare.

Very little is known about the movie other than who will make it, so F1 fans will have to keep their eyes peeled for teasers.

The movie, which was acquired by Apple Studios last summer, will see Damson Idris star alongside Pitt.

Hamilton’s role isn’t limited to a consultancy capacity, though, as the F1 driver has also signed on to produce the movie alongside Jerry Bruckheimer Films and Pitt’s production company, Plan B.

One thing’s for certain, if you’re an F1 fan, you’re going to bust a gut to see the movie on its opening night, as it sounds like it’ll be epic.
