Travis Pastrana is one of the world’s best motorsport athletes.
The motorsport icon is a champion in almost any motorsport you can think of.
In recent times, Pastrana teamed up with racing YouTuber Cleetus McFarland to take part in a race.
And Pastrana won himself a C8 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 in the process.

Travis Pastrana: X Games and motorsport legend
In case you (somehow) haven’t heard of Travis Pastrana, allow us to introduce you.
The Annapolis, Maryland native first got his start on two wheels instead of four.
Pastrana first made waves by winning the AMA Motorcross Championship in the 125cc class in 2000.
The following year, Pastrana would win the AMA’s Supercross Championship, again in the 125cc class.
During his early career, the young Travis Pastrana had always played around with freestyling motocross bikes.
Ever since his debut in 1999, Pastrana has won 17 medals in various competitions at the X-Games.
If you think that’s impressive, then check this out – 11 of those 17 are gold medals.
The icon has competed in various other motoring competitions and events throughout his career.
For example, Pastrana has stuck himself behind the wheel of a World Rally Championship (WRC) car.
He has also competed in NASCAR, making on-and-off appearances since his debut in 2011.
McFarland meets Pastrana in epic crossover race
A few days ago, one of the biggest crossovers in American motorsport-content happened.
YouTuber Cleetus McFarland, who runs a channel of the same name, invited Travis to a race.
But this was far from a standard, quarter-mile type race – no, this was something special.
McFarland owns his own race track called the Freedom Factory in Bradenton, Florida.
For five years, McFarland has hosted a 100-lap race called the ‘Freedom 500.’
The race is particularly intriguing because each racer gets the same car and setup.
An old Ford Crown Victoria with some nitrous thrown in for extra fun.
This sell-out race, the fifth Freedom 500, saw Pastrana take the chequered flag and win.
As part of the win, McFarland offered Pastrana the choice of a Mercedes Sprinter or a C8 Corvette Z06.
Of course, Pastrana took the Corvette – what kind of motorsport legend would he be if he didn’t?
We think it’s an extremely cool concept from Cleetus McFarland, and it’s well worth watching.
