Legendary British off-road company Land Rover is getting set to celebrate the original Range Rover SVR SUV, with a special tribute edition that is set to wear an iconic color.
First launched in 2015, the SVR was one of the most recognizable cars of the brand’s modern age.
Despite the fact that it first launched over 10 years ago, the SUV still remains a firm favorite among fans of Range Rover.
Now, it is back, in a slightly different form, and with one of the brand’s most iconic colors also getting a revival.

How Range Rover has resurrected the SVR ten years on
Coming later in 2026, Land Rover is bringing out the new Range Rover Sport SV Ultimate Edition.
This new SUV will pay direct homage to the original SVR of 2015.
Big V8 power, fully turbocharged, will sit under the hood of the new model.
But the biggest draw for many will be the return of an iconic color.
The stunning Velocity Blue Gloss makes its return, appearing on the current Sport SV for the first time.
This is a direct nod to the original Range Rover SVR that made this color so famous.

If you don’t like that blue, you can get the new SV Ultimate Edition in two other colors.
Obsidian Black Satin and Ethereal Frost Satin are both available for the SUV.
But a shiny blue isn’t the only thing this monster SUV has to offer.
This is how the SV Ultimate Edition delivers a killer punch
Packed under the hood is a massive 4.4-liter V8 engine with a mild-hybrid assist.
This is enough to punch out 626hp and 553lb-ft of torque.
That is a staggering amount of oomph for a large, luxury car; in fact, it’s up there with some of the best sports cars currently on the market.
If you do want to get your hands on one of them, however, there are two important caveats we have to address.
Firstly, Land Rover is only going to make 500 available to its customers.
Secondly, all of them are reserved for the UK, with none officially being sold abroad.

So, fans of the original Range Rover SVR in America will have to be content with missing out for the time being.
Prices will start at £145,995 in the UK, which is roughly $194,700.
So you definitely need deep pockets to get your hands on this fearsome tribute act.
