This rare Koenigsegg Jesko Absolut popped up out of nowhere in Spain and people don’t know what to make of it.
This is a rare supercar, and it’s very expensive.
People are a little more used to seeing it in Miami, London or Dubai, but not necessarily in the outskirts of a city in Spain.
But, with our Sherlock Holmes hat on, we could probably come up with an explanation.

One of the potential reasons why this car is here
A Koenigsegg Jesko Absolut in a color that’s halfway between purple and brown recently made it to Spain, as we learned from a Reddit post shared by nachofiest.
No information was provided in the post but, as we can see from the picture, the car is currently being transported by a company based in Madrid.
And that’s food for thought.

Now, Madrid is a wonderful city, full of many wondrous things.
There’s Plaza Mayor and the Cibeles Fountain, but there are also two major soccer clubs, Atlético de Madrid and Real Madrid.
Both are elite clubs (Real especially, obviously), and both are rich clubs, which means they employ rich players.
And rich soccer players are the perfect demographic for a hypercar like this.
So, we wouldn’t be shocked to see a Real or Atlético player showcasing their new Jesko Absolut on Instagram in the coming weeks.

About the Jesko Absolut
Named after the company’s founder’s father, the Jesko Absolut is an extreme take on an already extreme hypercar.
The Absolut differs from the standard Jesko as its focus is on low drag, allowing it to travel at over 300MPH.
Thanks to the 5.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 under the hood, the Absolut has an incredible 1,600HP and 1,106LB-FT of torque.
It was designed to break speed and performance records.
After becoming the fastest car in the world to get from 0 to 400KM/H and then back to 0, it also became the world’s fastest car to complete a quarter-mile run.
Interestingly, despite the hefty price tag (starting at over $3M), all Koenigsegg supercars are currently sold out, including the Absolut.
