Whether they belong to Schumacher or Alonso, these F1 cars are being rebuilt for private collectors.

In 2020, a team of ex-Formula 1 professionals joined TDF, making the brand synonymous with engineering excellence ever since.

The UK motorsports firm acquires F1 cars, restores them, and sells them to true-blue racing enthusiasts.

If you’re looking for the authentic Formula 1 experience, these guys are second to none.

Rebuilding F1 cars from Schumacher or Alonso for private collectors

The popularity of Formula One, AKA F1, grows each and every year.

Not only are millions tuning in, but many people want the authentic experience with their own cars.

Is it any wonder when we’re seeing 3D printed F1 parts being built into road cars?

F1 wheels have also made their way onto a 6X6 Kei truck, and even Canadian penthouses aren’t exempt from the hype.

For those wanting one of the iconic racers for themselves, TDF is the place to go.

This UK-based team has years of experience in taking historical Formula 1 cars with fragile components and turning them into durable collector’s items.

The cars they source often come from defunct teams like Marussia, but active teams like Sauber are also represented.

TDF installs its own power unit, eliminating the need for complex pre-heating procedures, as recently reported.

This 1.8-liter turbo-4 has a power output between 450HP to 600HP.

It’s not all ‘Out with the old, in with the new’, however.

The chassis, suspension, and bodywork all remain intact.

Generally speaking, these cars usually clock in at under 1,500 pounds and are capable of going at speeds faster than 200MPH.

If you want to get your hands on a retired F1 car, whether it raced with Michael Schumacher or Fernando Alonso, TDF is the place to go.

Owning these types of cars takes a lot of cash

It doesn’t take a genius to work out that owning a former F1 car is not something that’s easily achieved.

That should come as no surprise to anyone.

But this isn’t the first time we’ve seen rich people splurge a little when it comes to collecting cars.

The Sultan of Brunei has been particularly indulgent when it comes to the matter of Formula 1 cars – having $300 million worth of them in his collection.

Fernando Alonso has accumulated quite the haul of his own off the track, including one of the rarest Ferrari hypercars ever made.
