When Shaq found out a young athlete was struggling to get to practice, he surprised her with a new car.
Tamara Humphries is one of the best female wrestles at the University of Pittsburgh.
She just had one problem – she needed a car to head to and from class and practice.
That’s where NBA legend – and car aficionado – Shaquille O’Neal came into the picture.

Shaq gifts young athlete new car
Tamara Humphries has been wrestling for a few years now, and she’s built up quite a social media following as a result.
One such follower was none other than Shaquille O’Neal himself, aka Shaq.
So imagine her shock when the former basketballer reached out to her over Instagram and offered to help her any way he could.
Now there’s an offer that’d be hard to turn down.
One FaceTime with Humphries’ parents later, and Shaq had a SUV on hand to gift her.
That, and some words of wisdom.
“You keep body slamming people, you keep listening, and you keep your grades up. I love you and no boys. Stay away from them boys,” O’Neal said in a teasing message.
Shaq is a big man, but he has an even bigger heart.
Celebrities can be generous with cars
When you have as much money as some of the famous faces in Hollywood, you can afford to be generous with cars.
Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson is particularly giving when it comes to sets of wheels.
He gave his stunt double a brand new truck after years of taxing physical work.
And his family have also benefited from his abundant gift-giving, including his dad receiving a $60,000 truck, and his uncle getting a Ford F-150.
Being gifted a car is a high honor, and it’s hard to top it.
