A $300,000 Range Rover, owned by Shaquille O’Neal, has been stolen on its way to receive a custom seat installation from a shop in Atlanta, and the police are on the case.

Shaq might have one of the biggest car collections of all time, both in sheer size, and in stature with a range of modified SUVs in his ownership.

But his latest car to get upgrades has been reported as stolen.

While on the way to an interior upgrade, his $300,000 Range Rover has gone missing, and Georgia police are on the case.

Lumpkin County Sheriff’s Office gives update on Shaq’s stolen Range Rover

Unfortunately, expensive cars are quite high on the theft list, and celebrities are often caught in the crossfire.

Keanu Reeves once had his dream Porsche 911 stolen, leading him to build a new one, while popular streamer Duke Dennis tracked down his own stolen Dodge Challenger Black Ghost and had the perpetrator reprimanded.

Now, Shaquille O’Neal has reported his Range Rover as stolen, as it was on the way back from getting a Shaq-sized upgrade.

The car was in transit between Atlanta and Georgia, and the Lumpkin County Sheriff’s Office is in charge of its recovery.

“Somewhere in transit, that’s when it became missing,” said Sheriff Stacy Jarrard in a video announcement on social media.

“We’re still actively working the case, continuously getting phone calls and emails with other news feeds.

“The latest in the case is that the investigator has gotten ten more search warrants […] to identify information to get us to a person of interest.”

The car has yet to be found, although the Sheriff claimed that they’re getting closer.

“I remain confident that we will make an arrest – the investigator feels pretty confident that there will be an arrest made,” Sheriff Stacy Jarrard added.

Why Shaq needs to get custom kits from garages around the US

The seven-foot basketball icon is a massive car enthusiast, but Shaquille O’Neal often finds that his massive frame is too large for the common car.

When it comes to sports cars, he often liaises with Miami-based Effortless Motors to get wild upgrades just so he can fit in with comfort, such as was the case with a recent Corvette.

But that also goes for American muscle cars like his Dodge Challenger, and luxury SUVs such as a monstrous glowing Apocolypse armored truck.

The basketball icon might be looking to stay loyal to more local garages after this fiasco, and we can only hope that he is reunited with his latest car purchase.
