Son heartwarmingly surprises dad on his 70th birthday with Mini Cooper

The man shared the video of him revealing the gift and how his father reacted to it.

Well, the only reason behind him picking the luxury hatchback is that the father-son duo used to watch ‘The Italian Job’ movie while growing up.

If you haven’t watched it, the movie featured an older model of the Mini Cooper, which made it quite desirable.

Since watching the movie with his father was a fond memory for the man, he knew that getting that car was the right choice.

The video posted on Instagram by an account called realkingsgive had a caption that read: “For those who know my Dad well, he doesn’t care about fancy things…at all.

“He’s always been the most selfless person I know, and would always put the needs of others, before his for new edered bus it?”

The post added: “So, I made it a goal of mine to one day buy this car for him.”

Well, giving back to your parents is certainly an excellent feeling, to say the least.

Unlike this 18-year-old who got a Lamborghini Huracan GTO from his dad, it was the son gifting a car to his father.

The video starts off with the duo and their family thinking they were off to a Mercedes-Benz dealership to get a car for the family.

Immediately after, the man asked his father pointing at a car: “How about that one?”

He was – of course – pointing at a Mini Cooper S.

His father responded, “If I want to buy [a car], I would buy a car like this.”

After asking about the luxury hatchback’s cost, the son said it was free and had bought it for him.

The father, being emotional, thanked him and gave him a tight hug.

So, what happened next?

Well, the new owner of the Bottle Green Mini Cooper S took it out for a spin.

He would have a great time enjoying the luxury hatchback’s performance and comfort.

After all, it’s a great gift to receive on your 70th birthday.

Ultimately, it’s a powerful hatchback powered by a four-cylinder turbocharged engine producing 201 bhp.
