Steph Curry apparently still drives a modest company car, an Infiniti Q50, despite having a net worth with several zeros in it.

A relatively unknown model from a generic car brand, the Q50 is no longer in production, and it isn’t a particularly valuable car.

It’s an interesting choice for a man worth a quarter of a billion dollars.

Then again, it’s probably a great way to keep the paps at bay.

Why Steph Curry drives an Infiniti

Steph Curry became a brand ambassador for Infiniti in 2017 and, as part of the deal, he was given an Infiniti Q50 as a company car to drive every day.

He clearly loves the car because, according to the US Sun, he still drives it every day.

Despite his love for it, though, the Q50 is no longer in production.

It was unveiled over a decade ago as a rebadged Nissan Skyline.

It was available with two four-cylinder engines – a diesel and a gas version – as well as three different V6s, including a hybrid version.

Back when it was new, the auto had a starting price of around $43,000.

Now, you can easily find one for less than $20,000, or even $15,000, depending on the model.

Clearly, Curry is on the same page as Warren Buffett or even Rimac founder Mate Rimac.

Despite their considerable net worth, Buffett and Rimac still drive relatively inexpensive vehicles, an old – and damaged – Cadillac and old BMW, respectively.

What’s inside Steph Curry’s car collection?

Curry owns a variety of expensive cars. Among others, he was spotted at the wheel of a Range Rover, Cadillac Escalade and a G-Wagen.

He also owns two Porsches – a Panamera and a 911 GT3 RS.

More importantly, he recently took delivery of a heavily modified Mansory Ford GT.

And maybe that’s the reason why he prefers the Infiniti.

Because the Ford GT – pictured above – is clearly not a great choice if you’re trying to keep a low profile and stay away from the paparazzi.
