If you’ve ever wanted a car that looks like it hails from the garage of Alex Hirschi, AKA Supercar Blondie, you’re in luck as she announces an exclusive range of color wraps in partnership with Avery Dennison.
Alex has teamed up with premium global manufacturer of wrapping and paint protection films, Avery Dennison, to create six new potential supercar shades.
Their experts will do extensive research and testing before selecting four elite color finishes to make it into production as part of the Avery Dennison Supreme Wrapping FilmTM range.
These final four exclusive luxe color wraps will be available for your own car. What’s more, you can vote for the shade that Alex should have her own BMW X6 M Competition wrapped in. Which finish gets your engine revving?

When it comes to elegant, unique, and stunning vehicles, there’s no denying that Supercar Blondie knows her stuff.
Alex drew inspiration from a whole host of places: from her existing cars and luxury brands, to shades she’s always dreamed of but never been able to nail down – until now.
There are six shades under extensive testing, including a calm-inducing and airy light green pastel, a more sumptuous, deeper shade of green, and Alex’s own interpretation of Blue Boracay, inspired by her beloved lilac Rolls-Royce.
Next comes a very special shade of violet with pink that Alex admits she’s always wanted to create but has never been able to pin down until now, an energetic shade of sunset orange-pink, and a delicious interpretation of caffè mocha.
The wrapping-film specialists at Avery Dennison are working alongside Alex to test the exact blend of pigments needed before mixing them in a PVC matrix to see how they’ll look on the car and in motion.

This allows the research scientists to color-match Alex’s color preferences and create four optimized and never-before-seen shades.
The intense and rigorous process of producing these color wraps for international distribution will take several months.
The four Supercar Blondie color wraps will be available in your local wrap shops from September, meaning you can get your hands on head-turning supercar-inspired colors and have them expertly applied to your car.
Stay tuned for the chance to have your say and pick the exclusive color from the Supercar Blondie color range you’d like to see on Alex’s car.

All Supercar Blondie contributors undergo editorial review and fact-checking to ensure accuracy and authority in automotive journalism. After gaining her BA Hons in French and English at the University of Nottingham, Amelia embarked on a vocational diploma from the National Council for the Training of Journalists (NCTJ). This led to numerous opportunities, from interning at Vogue to being on the small team that launched Women’s Health magazine in the UK, which was named the PPA Consumer magazine of the year for three years running. As Health, Beauty and Fitness editor, Amelia personally received a Johnson & Johnson Award and was shortlisted for both PPA and BSME titles. Since then, Amelia has created content for numerous titles and brands, including the Telegraph, 111 Skin, Waitrose, Red magazine, Stylist, and Elle, as well as being Head of Content at Vitality and Editor in Chief at INLondon magazine. “My superpower is translating technical jargon about the mechanical workings of a supercar into a relatable story you’ll want to share with your friends after you’ve read it.” After joining the SB Media family as a senior journalist in September of 2023, Amelia’s role has evolved to see her heading up the SEO output of the editorial team. From researching the most ‘Google-able’ key terms to producing evergreen content - it’s been a time of hard work, growth, and success for the editorial team and the Supercar Blondie website. “I like to think of myself as a ‘method journalist’. In other words: I live and breathe whatever I am writing about. When writing about fitness, I trained as a personal trainer, and as a beauty editor, I completed an ‘expert’ in scent diploma with the Fragrance Foundation. “During my tenure at Supercar Blondie, however, I did something I never thought possible: I passed my driving test at the age of 36. One day I’d love to train as a mechanic to better understand what happens under the hood, too. “My sweet spot is providing readers with a ‘takeaway’ (read: something new they didn’t know before) after reading every one of my stories. While I don’t claim to be an expert in the automotive world, I know the experts and bodies in the field to rely on to provide our readers with an informative and thought-provoking story every time they visit the site.”
