This futuristic superyacht looks like it came directly from the future, thanks to the unique shape and silhouette of the vessel.

With awards under its belt and an owner passionate about cruising, it’s no wonder that the boat has sailed to success.

Clever features on board mean this expensive yacht can house many guests and crew members who are ready to explore the open seas.

In fact, the design is so unique that the owner compared it to an out-of-body feeling.

This superyacht is straight out of a sci-fi movie

Billionaire Anto Marden is the proud owner of Adastra, a huge superyacht with a clever, yet unusual shadow.

The yacht itself was designed by John Shuttleworth and was:

“Created to meet the needs of a very experienced ocean voyaging couple and their family, who wanted to provide the level of comfort and style that would be expected in a yacht of this class and size,” stated yacht builder McConaghy Boats.

The design, though, truly is in a league of its own, with a shape that wouldn’t be out of place in a sci-fi movie.

In fact, Marden explained that being on board the yacht is ‘like living in a goldfish bowl’, according to Boat International.

The boat has an aft deck with a bar and a dining area, along with a garage below that can be folded out into a large swim platform.

The large superyacht spans 42.5m and can house nine guests and six members of crew.

Below deck, there is a full-width master cabin, accommodation for the crew, and even two subsequent cabins for guests, too.

The owner of Adastra has always had a sailing passion, with the sport being part of his childhood, so it’s no surprise that it’s part of his adult life too, as he reportedly spends eight weeks on board per year.

“The yacht’s superstructure is constructed from carbon fibre, the hull is Glass/Kevlar foam sandwich, and the interior features lightweight oak cabinetry using honeycomb panels,” McConaghy further detailed.

It’s no secret that owning a superyacht can be seen as the epitome of luxury, thanks to the large price tags that are often attached to them.

Many business moguls and celebrities often splash out on the vessels to taxi them to luxury destinations.

In fact, there’s a mystery billionaire whose $500M superyacht makes Jeff Bezos’s Koru look small.

Plus, one Dubai Crown Prince manages to escape the desert heat on a vast $180M yacht with a gym that was designed by Olympian Usain Bolt.
