This small modular robot is on-hand to help out around the garden, tackling everything from plowing snow to cutting grass.

Science fiction has long promised us human beings that one day we’ll have our own robot helpers to take on jobs around the house.

And it seems the tech is finally catching up – at this year’s CES 2026, there was a host of humanoid bots doing all sorts of household tasks, like washing up and folding laundry

But if it’s your garden that you need a hand with, then the Yarbo M robot could be exactly what you’re looking for.

The robot would be a big help in the garden

Taking care of a garden requires not just time, but specialist tools and equipment.

If you’re fortunate enough to have a large garden, you’ve probably amassed an equally large amount of mowers, edge-trimmers, leaf blowers, and the like.

However, the Yarbo M is here to save you time and space by being able to carry out a wide range of gardening tasks.

The Yarbo M is built around one central unit that can be used with different modules, including a lawn mower, snow plow, and leaf collector.

Setting it up is a bit like getting a robot vacuum cleaning going – you’ll need to use an app to map out the areas you need it to work, and once that’s done, you can leave the little bot to it.

Yarbo has released three models: the M10, the M20, and the M20i.

According to its creator, the M10 is ideal for gardens up to an acre, while the M20 can cover up to 1.5 acres and has a longer battery life.

The M20i model also boasts LiDAR sensor and AI-powered cameras that help it ‘look’ out for obstacles while in the garden.

The gardening bots can be pre-ordered now – and here’s how much it’ll cost you

The Yarbo M is powered by a 20Ah battery and supports 630W wireless fast-charging that takes between 30 and 80 minutes to fully charge, depending on the model.

And you don’t need to worry about forgetting to charge it, because once the battery drops lower than 10 percent, it’ll take itself off the charging dock so it’s ready for its next outing.

In mowing mode, you can expect an impressive 110 minutes of run time for the M20i model, which means it can take care of gardens that are more than five acres.

Yarbo has put the trio of bots onto Kickstarter, where early backers get the base M10 unit for $2,199 or $4,199 with all the modules, while the top-of-the-line M20i is priced at $4,899 with all modules, or $3,299 for just the mower module.

If the Kickstarter is a success, then the robot gardeners should start shipping in August.
