Tesla Model Y L and Model 3+ have posted some of the highest battery range figures in the China EV market.
Regulatory filings list the Tesla Model Y L at 751km on the CLTC (China Light-Duty Vehicle Test Cycle range) test cycle, while the Model 3+ reaches up to 830km.
Both use LG-supplied ternary NMC batteries and have updated motors for more power.
With full specifications now public, a September launch is expected to put both models in direct competition with the country’s top long-range electric cars.

Tesla Model Y L Stretches Range
The Tesla Model Y L is a longer and taller version of the standard Tesla Model Y, with a six-seat interior layout.
It measures 196 ins long, 75.5 ins wide, and 66 ins tall, with a wheelbase of 119 ins.
Curb weight is 2,088kg, and gross weight is 2,651kg.
Tire sizes are 255/45R19 at the front and 275/45R19 at the rear.

Its dual-motor setup delivers 142kW to the front axle and 198kW to the rear, with a top speed of 201km/h (125mph).
An 82kWh LG NMC battery provides the 751km CLTC range, which measures how far an EV can go on a single charge, making it one of the highest in the China EV category.
The larger dimensions and extended wheelbase are aimed at improving cabin space and passenger comfort.
Model 3+ Pushes Past 800km
The Model 3+ keeps the same dimensions as the current Model 3, measuring 186 ins long, 73 ins wide, and 57 ins high, with a wheelbase of 113 ins.
It weighs 1,760kg at the curb and 2,192kg gross. A 225kW rear motor replaces the previous 194kW unit, paired with a 78.4kWh LG NMC battery.
Two versions are listed, with ranges of 830km and 800km under CLTC testing.

The Model 3+ rides on 235/45R18 or 235/40R19 tires and reaches a top speed of 200km/h (124mph).
The upgrades focus on range and efficiency rather than exterior design changes.
In July, Tesla delivered 67,886 Model 3 and Model Y units from its Shanghai plant, down 5.2 percent from June and 8.4 percent year-on-year.
These totals include exports to other markets.
The Tesla Model Y L and Model 3+ launch in September with increased range and more power.
This move comes as the brand works to stay competitive in the China EV market, which has been booming.
