When this man put Tesla’s Full Self Driving to the ultimate test in Miami, things got real very quickly.
YouTuber Dirty Tesla wanted to see if he could push FSD v14.2.2 to its absolute limit.
And what better place to do that than on the busy streets of Miami?
With all the bustling traffic and crowds, this route would test any human driver – so how would a self-driving car do?

How would Tesla’s Full Self Driving hold up on the busy Miami streets?
Chris, the host of Dirty Tesla, had a clear goal in mind – he wanted to see how much the new version of FSD could take.
In the streets of Miami, that could only mean one thing – lots of pedestrians, confusing intersections, and tons of chaos.

Our palms are collectively getting sweaty just thinking about it, right?
Things were off to a good start, as the FSD patiently drove on through early congestion.
It certainly looked a lot different from human drivers in that situation, who were honking their horns incessantly.

On the whole, the FSD started to look successful, if slightly conservative, in that it didn’t allow a car to cut, and only committed to a tight turn once visibility improved.
Not that there’s anything wrong with that necessarily, it certainly sounds safe.
However, things get a bit more fierce when a last-second turning car prompts the FSD to abruptly and assertively skirt out, without signaling.

This felt angrier compared to standard FSD behavior.
There were fast reactions on display all around as the FSD quickly rerouted around a closed road sign.
Parking was one thing that Tesla’s Full Self Driving struggled with, but that didn’t take away from Chris’ overall impression of how well the FSD did.

This isn’t the first time FSD has been put to the test
As the technology develops, there’s an urge among drivers to test it out – that’s certainly what we did here at Supercar Blondie.
But some of the tests are more arduous than others.
How does driving through dense fog sound?
And there was the guy who set up a Looney Tunes-style wall to see if it would know when to brake.
