This Dodge Charger is so unrecognizable that the engine noise is the only clue to its identity.

The unique creation is a result of an extended NASCAR chassis and a 1968 Dodge Charger Body.

After being built, it was time to take it on a test run.

And the sound really was something else.

Dodge is known for making a whole fleet of reputable cars.

From muscle cars to modern marvels, the list really is endless.

For example, one of the rarest Dodge Chargers ever produced, which wasn’t intended for the US, was found abandoned in a forest.

Plus, the brand even made a bizarre concept four-wheel motorcycle that blurred the lines between superbike and supercar.

But, we bet you’ve never seen a Dodge like this before.

You see, this car was once made up of the body of a 1968 Dodge Charger, but now it is completely unrecognizable.

The guys over on the Floyd’s Mayhem Garage YouTube channel had been working on the unique build and decided to take it out for a spin on an anticipated test drive.

“Here we go, been waiting for this day for a while,” the creator quipped as the car was about to be driven.

“This is the first test drive of the extended NASCAR chassis to fit up with the 1968 Charger body. This thing rips and is such a blast to drive,” the channel explained.

The engine of the transformed Dodge was fully exposed, and the identity of the car really was unrecognizable.

Huge new wheels also adorned the outside, with the NASCAR now being an auto-cocktail of dreams.

In fact, the only giveaway of the car’s true origin was in the sound of the engine.

After being fired up, the clue was in the way it roared, a sound that’s instantly recognizable to many a gearhead.

The test run of the unique NASCAR creation brought joy to the gearheads, and the sound was a clear sign that the engine was up and running in good order, too.

It was taken to tear up the track and was certainly put through its paces.

“This thing’s a blast,” the creator explained as the Dodge Charger was wheeled back in.
