It might not be the most famous of the Austin Powers cars, nor the most beautiful, but this Myers Motors NmG is definitely the wackiest, and 20 years after featuring on TV, it’s turning heads in the wild.

When you think of Austin Powers’ cars, you immediately think of the iconic chase in the Jag.

Or, if you’re not a regular ‘Powers-ranger’, Hollywood cars association usually pulls you towards high-powered sci-fi Batmobiles.

Yet this plucky little icon is equally as legendary as the rest, as the ‘Jellybean’ Myers Motors NmG is still turning heads today.

The Myers Motors NmG ‘jellybean’ car is turning heads after being spotted in the wild

Hollywood is famed for making weird and wonderful cars, just as the League of Extraordinary Gentlemen proved.

But the Austin Powers movies made their own string of funky vehicles, and one has just captured the attention of a car fanatic.

Taking on Reddit, one person spotted the Myers Motors NmG out in the wild and was stunned at what they found.

But in truth, this tiny three-wheeled jellybean is actually far ahead of its time, being an EV from 1999.

Initially produced by Corbin Motors, the little whippet clocked up 70mph and was adopted by Domino’s Pizza as one of its flagship courier cars.

In Austin Powers, the car actually had an added rear that made it more akin to a dodgem, but it remains an icon of the franchise.

Nowadays, the car is endangered, with production ceasing over a decade ago.

But it’s awesome to see some plodding along gallantly.

Austin Powers cars are early Hollywood icons

The Jellybean isn’t the only icon from Austin Powers that has been seen still running around, though.

Namely, a real ‘ Pimp Mobile’ was also spotted running amok in recent years, as the snow-plowing, custom-built ‘96 Volvo N960 Limousine was up for auction in 2023.

The most notable of the Austin Powers cars is the 1961 Jaguar E-Type, wrapped up in a Union Jack.

But the Jellybean is definitely the most intriguing vehicle of the lot and was an EV that deserved more recognition than it got in the wider automotive industry.
