This Boeing 757 pulled off an incredible stunt on its ascent out of California’s LAX airport.
The clip, captured by Airline Videos Live, showed the United Airlines jet completing a 5,000-feet-per-minute climb, giving the illusion of a rocket take-off, before it eventually leveled out.
The airplane in question is propelled into the air by two Rolls-Royce RB211-535 engines that each produce a mighty 43,700lbs of thrust, allowing it to take off in ways that you wouldn’t expect.
