This guy from the US has wanted a Chevrolet Corvette his whole life to take after his grandad, and after searching, he hit the jackpot.

And, he managed to source a Chevy that tickled his fancy with impressive power.

So, to complete his dream purchase, he traveled a substantial distance to pick it up.

However, he needed to learn how to drive stick after only driving an automatic.

Chevy Corvettes are a lot of gearheads’ dream car.

The Chevrolet build is loved far and wide by auto enthusiasts for its sheer power.

For example, the US Secret Service is actually testing the Chevy Corvette and Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing.

Plus, our very own Alex Hirschi, AKA Supercar Blondie, drove the new Chevrolet Corvette C8 with the key fob sparking her interest.

But one gearhead took his love to the next level when he made his dreams into a reality.

YouTuber Lance Baker always dreamed of owning a Chevy Corvette, so he finally decided to find one.

The love clearly runs in the family, with his grandad having previously owned one.

But the one he wanted was a whopping three hours away, so he went on a road trip to view and take it home.

The Corvette in question was labeled as ‘the most insane listing that he’d ever seen’ – a C3 for just $15,000.

It’s clear that the car was in pretty good condition with parts that set his world alight, including a hydraulic clutch and brand-new brakes. He even described it as being like a race car.

So, his curiosity piqued by the online listing, he enquired and asked how drivable it was, and according to the seller, it needed tuning.

But to get the car home in one piece, he decided to hire a truck to bring it back.

When the YouTuber arrived at the listing location, he was seriously impressed. In fact, his only concern was the loose interior – the seats weren’t buckled in, and the ground was visible near the gearstick.

But, as he was so impressed, he decided it was an ideal purchase. Now all he has to do is learn to drive stick…
