These Utahns bought a storage unit with a car inside, and once they opened the door, they knew it was going to be messy.
Buying a storage unit is always a risky move, as you never know what you’re going to find inside.
But a car is always a welcome surprise…right?
As the HeavyDSparks YouTube channel found out, it wasn’t without its complications and drawbacks.

Forrest Gump may have once said that ‘Life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you’re going to get’, but that could be applied to storage lockers too.
And when they have cars inside, all bets are off.
We’ve seen some pretty wild vehicles stowed away inside these storage units over the years.

There was a Dodge Ram that was in a dire state, but had a beautiful backstory.
Then there was this Oldsmobile Cutlass sitting inside a $825 locker, and a Volkswagen campervan accumulating dust in a storage facility.
And Utahn YouTube channel HeavyDSparks is no stranger to a storage unit car find.
In the past, the team snagged one for $2,500, and found a semi-truck stowed away inside.
A more recent video had the content creators taking a look at another unit-based car.

From the outside, things didn’t look too catastrophic for this Toyota Camry.
Admittedly, it wasn’t a great start as there was no key to be found and the car had to be towed out.
But it wasn’t covered in rust, mold, or dust, so we’ll take the victories where we can find them.
However, that’s where the good news ends.
The fact that you can hear a deep sigh once this Toyota’s trunk was opened says it all.

This car was filthy.
Bottles, newspapers, cardboard boxes, pill bottles, you name it.
It was strewn around inside the vehicle, with an ample topping of dust and crumbs.
And when it got rolled onto the trailer, it sounded more like Chewbacca or Godzilla than it did a car.

They managed to sell the car on though, and that’s the main thing.
For a start, we’ve seen cars in worse conditions – perhaps hold your nose and revisit the world’s dirtiest Tesla for a reminder?
