The Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner: Here’s what you need to know
Chances are, if you have flown overseas, you’ll have jumped on board a Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner, especially if you flew with British Airways.
The company has a mighty total of 18 within its fleet, and thanks to the popularity of the aircraft, it shared a look at how the plane is actually built.

With a range of 14, 010km, the plane undertakes journeys across the globe with ease, with a passenger capacity of 296.
But the impressive elements do not stop there.
According to British Airways itself, the 787-9 Dreamliner is 20 percent more fuel efficient than similar jets and even has 30 percent larger windows too.
But when it comes to assembling all of the elements, such as the fuselage and windows, it’s simply mesmerizing to watch.

Here’s what goes down in the Boeing factory
Deep in the Boeing factory, the 787-9 Dreamliner was assembled, ready to start its life in the air by flying to Delhi, over a decade ago, in 2015.
The process involved all manner of machines that operated both in the factory and outside, too.

It was like watching the pieces of a jigsaw be put together with each wing lifted into position, alongside the tail driven to the end of the plane and seamlessly locked into place.

You can watch the plane assembly in action at the top of the page.
Hey, why not treat yourself and get lost in the satisfying world of Boeing, and you’ll see why the planes have a huge lifespan.
