Vossen Wheels has just gotten its hands on a discontinued Audi R8.
And the company has turned it into a Nardo Gray masterpiece.
It is now sadly impossible to buy a brand-new Audi R8.
But the aftermarket firm has truly made the most of it.

Vossen Wheels totally transforms Audi R8
Vossen Wheels is one of the car world’s premier aftermarket firms.
The Miami-based company even once imagined the yet-to-be-released Bugatti Tourbillon with a set of its wheels.
Now, though, Vossen Wheels has actually applied its work to a supercar that does exist.
And it has picked one of the most iconic supercars of the modern era to show off its tricks.
This incredible project is actually the product of a partnership.
Vossen partnered with San Antonio, Texas-based Espino Tire and Wheel.
Espino is actually the firm that dressed this Audi R8 head-to-toe in Nardo Gray.
After Espino did its magic, Vossen Wheels then got its turn.

And what a job it did, too.
Vossen Wheels placed the V10-powered icon on a set of three-piece Vossen GEN-03 alloy wheels, which were then finished in Satin Black for the face and Gloss Black for the outside.
This wheel option starts at $2,600 each.
They are also available in a range of sizes from 18in-24in diameter.
The most iconic supercar of the modern era?
As you probably know, Audi is rightly revered as one of the world’s finest car manufacturers.
However, the firm had never actually tackled the supercar market.
That did not change until 2006, with the release of the R8.
Initially released with a 4.2-liter FSI V8, the Audi R8 absolutely wowed the public.
Its release at the Paris Auto Show in September 2006 was a true game-changer.

And it was lauded in spades – not just for its incredible supercar abilities, but for its everyday ability, too.
The only initial critique was the R-Tronic automatic transmission.
However, that was quickly remedied with the wonderful S-Tronic, dual-clutch gearbox.
Early 2009 would see the release of one of the best engines ever built – the iconic 5.2-liter FSI V10 engine.
Heartbreakingly, the R8 was discontinued in March 2024, despite being considered one of the best supercars you could buy.
Rumors have swirled since that the Audi R8 could yet make a return.
Sadly, that has not yet materialized – but we can always live in hope.
