A Washington man visited the SpaceX Starbase in Texas and found so many Tesla Cybertrucks there that the EVs had practically taken over.

Derek Li posted a video on X (formerly Twitter) of the Cybertrucks parked at the SpaceX base, and there were truly incredible numbers parked.

Hundreds of vehicles are sitting at the Texas location, with some earmarked for use at the base to replace gasoline vehicles.

But the amount that Derek found was pretty incredible, and it was clearly far more than he expected to see.

The Starbase was full of Tesla Cybertrucks

The clip from Derek shows him driving up to the parked EVs, and they seem to go on forever.

While some of these will be part of the SpaceX, it would be surprising if that many of them were incorporated into the fleet.

The sheer number of Cybertrucks parked at Starbase has led to some speculation as to why they are there.

While we know some will be used at the base, it could be an indicator of how poor Cybertruck sales are.

As we know, the Tesla Cybertruck has not had an easy ride.

Sales of the Cybertruck have been slow recently

Deliveries and sales of the EV pickup truck have been quite slow over the past year.

The electric car company was aiming for one to two million orders for the EV.

But since its reveal in 2019, a lot has changed with the pickup truck.

Prices have changed dramatically, and many pre-order customers have been priced out.

Others have also felt it has not lived up to the original expectations set out by the company.

SpaceX may be taking on so many of the trucks due to how poor sales have been.

Whatever the case, seeing so many of the trucks parked up is in many ways quite impressive.

It isn’t very often you will get to see such a vast number of Cybertrucks all in one place.
