Europe tends to be king when it comes to car manufacturing – and the Porsche 911 is the jewel in the crown.
Germany, in fact, is a giant of car manufacturing.
The 911 is one of the benchmarks and standard bearers when it comes to sports cars.
And one European nation happens to have it as its best-selling car.
How can Andorra afford so many 911s?
In case you haven’t actually heard of Andorra, there are a few things you need to know.
It’s a small, land-locked Principality, sandwiched in between France and Spain.
Given its location in the Pyrenees, it’s also staggeringly beautiful, with perfect roads and scenery to enjoy cars, motorcycles, and basically any other mode of transportation.

The World Health Organisation (WHO) explains why Andorra is so wealthy and prosperous – it mostly comes down to a very low tax rate, as well as the banking and tourism industries.
With a population of around 81,000, it’s an extremely small country – but they certainly have wonderful taste in cars.
Andorra loves the Porsche 911
Now, as it turns out, the Porsche 911 has a big fan club in the nation of Andorra.
We know this thanks to Felipe Munoz, who works for the automotive analysis firm JATO Dynamics.
Munoz runs an excellent Instagram page called @carindustryanalysis, and he posted an interesting graphic outlining the best-selling cars in Andorra in 2024.
As you can see, residents of Andorra are big fans of the Stuttgart brand, with three Porsche models in the top ten.
Sales of the 911 increased by 41 percent in 2024, with a total of 83 being sold.
Interestingly, sales of the Cayenne SUV shot up by 283 percent in 2024, selling a total of 46.
The Macan sold a total of 45, which, whilst just one less than the Cayenne, is the exact same number as 2023.
