Sharing via basicallyalaina, Lainey was in a Bosnian village when she made the baffling discovery.
There are about 5,000 miles between Bosnia and Minnesota, so this is definitely an unusual find.
This video led to people making a point about Minnesotans and their cars.

This Minnesota car discovery in Bosnia left one woman shocked
Lainey was in a Bosnian village when she saw an Audi parked up outside a house.
But it wasn’t the make of the car that caught her eye – it was the Minnesota license plate sitting on the back!
“Must’ve been a long journey,” she joked in the video’s caption.

Commenters couldn’t help taking the opportunity to poke fun at Minnesota’s car culture.
“Every Minnesotan be driving EVERYWHERE. No matter where I’m at, I will see at least one somewhere,” one viewer claimed.
“People from the upper Midwest USA will tell you that’s just a short drive,” another joked.
“Typical Midwestern road trip,” a third remarked.

What’s the deal with cars in Minnesota?
Is there any truth to this stereotype?
Do Minnesotans really drive any more than their fellow Americans?
At the very least, the state seems well represented when it comes to abandoned cars – as demonstrated by this farm, or by this huge pasture that had 1,500 cars sitting on it.

But as far as active drivers go, Minnesota does have a claim to fame compared to other states.
It had the third-largest system of rural roads in the country, meaning cars are the most practical option for most residents.
In the Twin Cities, residents can make use of an extensive bus service and light rail, but this isn’t something most Minnesotans can take advantage of, obviously.
Whilst Minnesota can’t lay claim to having the most drivers or most miles traveled of all states, it does hold one distinction – drivers in the state are very safe.

Data from 2019 found that Minnesotans were the 6th best at obeying traffic laws and had the lowest levels of careless driving.
So rest assured, if a Minnesota car has ended up in the Balkans, it got there very safely.
