This guy bought a wooden Lamborghini, as in literally made from wood, that’s been sitting abandoned in a barn for ages.
Of course when we say ‘Lamborghini’, what we mean is this is a mix-and-match mashup of a Pontiac Fiero and a Chevrolet Beretta.
Surprisingly, it actually works.
Unsurprisingly, it didn’t work for long.

A wooden Lamborghini kit car
A YouTuber who goes by Vice Grip Garage bought this ‘Lamborghini’ kit car made of wood.
We don’t know why whoever built this car thought it would be a good idea to make the body out of wood, but we do know that the car started life as a Pontiac Fiero and uses the V6 out of a Chevrolet Beretta.
Vice Grip Garage bought the car and tried driving it back home which, for him, is a 300-mile (483km) drive.
He was off to a promising start, but things went awry.

As the journey progressed, the engine began to overheat repeatedly, ultimately leading to a locked motor.
So a 45-year-old kit car built from wood that hasn’t been used in ages didn’t work properly.
Shocking, we know.
Still fun, though.
When people take DIY projects to the next level

Jokes aside, these ‘creative’ vehicles exist because some people are simply passionate about DIY projects.
We’ve seen all kinds of vehicles built more or less from scratch, usually putting together bits and pieces from other cars.
The absolutely hilarious Tesler Siber Truck springs to mind.
The wooden Cybertruck is also worth mentioning, and this one was so good even Musk took notice.
The moral of the story is that, while we probably don’t particularly want a wooden Lambo-themed kit car with a Beretta engine, we’re certainly happy to live in a world where this sort of thing exists.
