World’s largest gathering of Cybertrucks turned Texas into a futuristic playground

Earlier this year, a large Cybertruck meet turned central Texas into a futuristic playground.
Organized by the Tesla Owners Club of Austin, the event gathered nearly 50 Tesla trucks in total.
The event – called the Cybertruck Rodeo – took place at the DOMO Dove Nest Motorsports Club of Central Texas in Gatesville.
It is believed to have been the largest Cybertruck meet in the world.

The largest Cybertruck meet happened in Texas
The Cybertruck owners first met at the Buc-ee’s in Temple to charge their vehicles, as the place had 48 Superchargers available.
It must not have taken long, since Tesla EVs can charge pretty quickly.
After that, they traveled down Highway 36 to Gatesville.
Looking at the Cybertruck convoy driving down the highway is quite a sight.
Ultimately, they reached the DOMO, a 400-acre motorsports club and resort community, which was a perfect location for such a huge Cybertruck meet.
The venue also sits adjacent to McGregor, where Elon Musk’s SpaceX rocket testing facility is located.
Cybertruck Rodeo event
According to Matt Holm, the founder of the Tesla Owners Club of Austin who helped organize the event, the location was perfect.
“We did off-road trails, we did a dirt track where we just did donuts. We had the best time, great, great turnout,” Holm said.
According to the organizers, this was the largest gathering of Cybertrucks to date, since their debut in November of 2019.
That is if we don’t count the $40 million worth of Cybertrucks sitting at the Tesla Gigafactory.
Anuarbek Imanbaev, the VP of the Tesla Owners Club in Austin was also thrilled with the effort many made to come to the first Cybertruck Rodeo.
“Mostly [people came] from Texas,” Imanbaev said.
“Some came from as far as Miami, Philadelphia, and New York,” he added.
The club also plans to hold more events like this in the future, and the best part is that you do not have to own a Tesla to attend.
