Did you know there’s a really easy way to check your Uber rating breakdown and see how many one-star reviews your Uber drivers have given you?
When Uber was launched publicly back in 2011, it was an absolute game-changer.
Not only did it allow you to hail a cab via a handy app, but it also let you rate and be rated by Uber drivers.
But if you’ve ever taken a peek at your rating and noticed it’s not sitting at a perfect five stars, there’s a way to check how many bad – or good – reviews you’ve actually received.

It’s actually very easy to check your Uber rating breakdown
If you’ve ever used an Uber, you’ll know that at the end of your trip, you’re asked to rate the driver, while the driver is also given the opportunity to give you a mark out of five.
So far, so simple, right?
But you’re not immediately alerted to your score, so if you don’t check it regularly, you could one day notice that you no longer have your perfect five stars out of five.

While some folks won’t particularly care if they’re rated a 4.62 out of five, the people pleasers amongst us probably do.
Thankfully, it’s pretty easy.
Open up the app and head into your Account, then tap Settings and choose Privacy.
In there, you’ll find a box that asks: “Would you like to see a summary of how you use Uber?”
Tap Summary below it and you’ll be given a bunch of stats, including how long you’ve used the app and how many trips you’ve taken.
Scroll a little further and you’ll see the Ratings tab where you can ask to ‘View my ratings’.
Inside, you’ll see your overall score as well as being able to check your Uber rating breakdown, revealing how many times you’ve been given five, four, three, two, or – gasp – one star.

If your score happens to be a bit lower than you’d like, Uber has some tips to help bring it back up.
Simple things like putting on your seatbelt, avoiding slamming car doors, not leaving behind trash, treating the driver with respect, and being ready and waiting for your Uber can all help.
Uber is bringing self-driving taxis to the UK
Of course, another easy way to ensure you don’t get a bad rating from a driver is to opt for a driverless taxi, and Uber is poised to introduce them into the UK.
While several cities across the US already had autonomous cabs thanks to services like Tesla’s Robotaxis and Waymo, the concept hasn’t yet arrived in the UK.
However, that’s all set to change as the UK government has signed off trials of self-driving taxis from early next year.
Meanwhile, Uber has already confirmed it is ready to roll out driverless taxis as soon as it gets given the greenlight.
