Getting affordable car insurance is necessary to own and drive a car legally, but what happens if no insurer wants you? — One YouTuber found that out the hard way.
To get affordable insurance some people have even agreed to have their driving monitored, but that’s not a privilege just anyone can get.
One UK YouTuber found that nobody wanted to insure his Lamborghini Revuelto for one simple reason.

YouTuber unable to get insurance for his Lamborghini Revuelto
An automotive YouTuber based out of the UK got a harsh reality check.
Mark McCann tried to get insurance for his new Lamborghini Revuelto, but nobody wanted to give him a quote.
In the end, a broker told him that insurers refused to give him a quote because he had a YouTube channel.
Apparently, they had seen McCann do all sorts of stunts with expensive supercars and didn’t want to provide him with coverage.
McCann already has a collection of supercars comprised of multiple Nissan Altimas, Huracan Sterrato, and an Aventador SVJ.
The reality
Usually, insurance companies who think the customer might be a little risky but don’t want to miss out on a payday give an absurd ‘go away’ price.
But in this case, McCann wasn’t even given an absurd quote.
Simply put, British insurers didn’t even want his business.
The broker explained to McCann that insurance in the UK is absurdly expensive because of the supply chain shortages.
These shortages started during the global health crisis in 2020.
Four years later, they are still affecting industries in some parts of the world.
What was even more surprising was that the YouTuber was contacted by his current insurance provider by email.
It notified him that there wouldn’t be a renewal, meaning he wouldn’t be able to legally drive most of his cars on public roads.
McCann eventually asked for help from a fellow YouTuber, Yianni Charalambous, aka Yannimize.
He gave McCann someone’s phone number and he was able to get full coverage for his Lamborghini at £6,377 ($8,257) a year.
