This YouTube personality and Irish professional drift racer got their hands on a dream Nissan S15, and to bring it up to speed with the rest of his pristine garage, it just got the rarest Japanese body kit upgrade ever.

When it comes to drifting, Nissan is up there with the best of the best.

Skyline or Silvia, it scarcely matters, both are among the Japanese greats.

But, to in order to turn this Nissan S15 into a beast fit for racing royalty, YouTube personality David Egan tracked down a legendary discontinued body kit.

Japanese cars are made for drifting and are some of the most fun models on the market.

Even the police in Japan use nippy supercars with great handling like this Acura NSX.

But the best part about the JDM genre is the customization of the body kits and engine work, taking the base blueprints and running them through the pack-a-punch machine.

Irishman David Egan, founder of Drift Games, has now unleashed his latest Nissan S15 upgrade, and thanks to a long-lost Japanese body kit, the finished product is an absolute beauty.

Egan’s Nissan Silvia collection is one of the finest out there, having owned over 30 of the cars since becoming obsessed with drift racing. Currently, he owns an S13, an S14, and an S15, all primed for some buffs.

In particular, the Nissan S15 NA EV1 yellow SR20DE version that he owned was ‘not wild enough’ and a bit ‘boring’ for his taste, prompting a big change.

It underwent a massive upgrade as a four-month wait for this rare Japanese body kit finally ended.

The kit is one of three ever made by Car Modify Wonder and was showcased for the first time at the Tokyo Auto Salon on a red S15 owned by iconic content creator Alexi ‘Noriyaro’ Smith.

It’s the first of its kind to land in Europe, featuring an aggressive styling with a double-layered spoiler, wide vented rear quarters, and one-off details like the filler cap and hinges.

Starting with the bonnet, fenders, and rear bumper, the Japanese body kit went on rather seamlessly, and with some tweaks to the rear arches and deep-dish wheels, it fit like a glove.

Then they were left with this magnificent creature.

Of course, the two-tone look will soon be rectified as Egan claimed that they will send it off for painting, keeping the original yellow look.

All that is left now is to get under the hood and give it a worthy engine.

As to what engine they want, though, well, that was up for discussion.

This kind of car deserves something out of the ordinary, and could be swayed by an LS V8, which isn’t a common choice in Europe.

Drift cars are on the rise after being popularised again through Lando Norris’ Skyline, and we can’t wait to see what comes next!
