A British YouTuber took his rebuilt Porsche 911 GT3 RS to a track day to race against $600,000 supercars, and he surprised plenty of people.
YouTuber Mat Armstrong posted the video on his MK2 channel, with the track day taking place at the UK’s Donington race track.
Armstrong drove against some other automotive YouTubers to see how fast they could all lap Donington in their various cars.
Many brought supercars with them, and Armstrong seemed to leave quite an impression as he competed against them in his Porsche sports car.

YouTubers that raced against Armstrong included Nico Leonard, Becky Evans, Shmee150, MrJWW, and Mark McCann.
Leonard set his lap in a Mercedes C-Class 1500, so it wasn’t the most representative of times.
Armstrong’s dad also went around the track in a Ferrari F430 supercar, which was just two seconds quicker than the Mercedes.
Not all of the cars were supercars, however.

Becky Evans set her lap time in a BMW M3, and she was nearly 15 seconds faster than the Ferrari F430.
A Lamborghini Huracán was up next, and that was remarkably slower than an Audi R8.
Given the price difference between the two, that’s quite surprising.
Armstrong was up next with his Porsche 911 GT3 RS, which he rebuilt from a wrecked state.
The car sounded superb on its lap, and Armstrong was pushing the GT3 RS hard to set a very fast lap time.
He ended up being two seconds quicker than the Audi R8.
This is a car that cost a fraction of the others, given its crash-damaged history.
All of the YouTubers were impressed by the Porsche’s lap time, and Armstrong really pushed it hard.
Shmee150 was up next in his Mercedes-AMG GT Black Series, which has around 300HP more than the Porsche.
The Mercedes ended up going two seconds faster than the Porsche, and he was very happy with his lap time.
MrJWW bought a Lamborghini Revuelto, with Mark McCann driving his Ferrari SF90 Stradale.
As it turned out, the Revuelto was the third fastest car of the day.
The Ferrari SF90 was the fastest, with McCann setting a lap time of 1:37.95.
Those were some very impressive lap times!
