Tavarish’s car collection feels like every car enthusiast’s dream garage, with cars like the McLaren P1, right up until you see the monthly costs.
From McLarens to Lamborghinis, rare manuals to long-forgotten project cars, the YouTuber’s lineup looks like a proverbial automotive museum.
But while the horsepower figures are exciting, it’s the financial figures that really stop people in their tracks.
Because as Tavarish recently revealed, owning 30 cars is a lot less glamorous behind the scenes.

Tavarish has a wildly diverse car collection
In a recent interview with The Iced Coffee Hour, Tavarish revealed what is inside his current collection.
The lineup includes everything from a McLaren 675LT and Ferrari F430 Scuderia to Aston Martins, Porsches, a V10 manual BMW M6 convertible, a Focus RS, and even a London taxi sitting overseas.

Some cars are long-term passion projects, like his 2008 Lamborghini Gallardo that helped launch his channel years ago.

And of course, there is the flooded McLaren P1 that he’s trying to convert into the ‘fastest McLaren P1 in the world’.

Surprisingly, the base running costs aren’t as insane as you might expect.
Insurance for the entire fleet sits $15,000 to $16,000 per year, thanks to a specialized fleet policy.
Most of his cars live in a secure, climate-controlled space and aren’t daily driven, which helps keep wear down.

His flooded McLaren P1 is the biggest money sink
But that creates a different problem: aging components.
Tires are one of the biggest hidden expenses.
Even with barely any miles, performance tires age out after about five years as the rubber compound degrades.
That means cars with almost brand-new tread still need full replacements, often costing thousands per set.
Add in routine maintenance, fluids, and random fixes, and the monthly operating cost for just the cars comes in at less than $5,000 a month.
Then there are the loans.
While many vehicles are owned outright, his McLaren P1 still carries financing, which changes the picture fast.

Once loan payments are factored in, his total monthly outlay climbs dramatically to around $22,000 a month.
While that’s obviously a lot of money, the YouTuber does have 30 cars in his garage, so if you average it out, it’s not that bad.
However, Tavarish’s car collection is a reminder that building a dream garage is one thing; keeping it a alive is another.
