This 1966 Ford Mustang convertible has emerged in Texas – and it only has 14,985 miles on the clock.
Down in the city of Houston, this low mileage beauty is going for sale on eBay.
As you might expect for such a seldom driven car, the price is great.
And on top of that, it looks as if this Mustang has been well preserved for the past five decades or so.

This 1966 Ford Mustang convertible hasn’t seen a lot of road in its time
The 1966 Ford Mustang convertible came just a year before the manufacturer undertook a significant redesign.
Not much in this edition changed from the previous year, besides some subtle alterations to the grille and new wheel cover designs.
The 200ci six-cylinder engine unit remained, powering the car with 120hp.

Of the 600,000 Mustangs made in 1966, only 72,000 were convertibles.
The Mustang in question has only driven 14,985 miles, having likely spent a lot of its life as a collectors item.
It’s going for sale over on eBay, and its seller gr8dayca has said that it got a recent coating of paint, so it looks extra fresh.

This car is currently going for $39,000, which is a great deal.
However, any interested parties have the option to make an offer on this Mustang.
With only three people having added this car to their watchlists so far, this car is currently flying under the radar.

Low mileage cars are always a treat
Finding a low mileage vehicle is a victory for any car hunter.
We’ve seen some that have held up beautifully, including this 1976 Chevrolet and this 1977 Corvette.

Even soccer star Pele’s 1960s Mercedes was discovered to have a stunningly low mileage, once it was dug out after 30 years.
But sometimes even a small number on the clock isn’t enough to sell a vehicle, as the person trying to shift this 2013 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 discovered.
It’s possible that some buyers out there like a car with a high number on its odometer.
Maybe they like a car that has been put through the mill, so to speak.
Different strokes for different folks and all of that.
