This 1989 Porsche 962c is a pink masterpiece that’s louder and faster than most modern supercars.
The sports car that came to life over 30 years ago proved that it can still play the part, too, as it put on a sterling performance on the racetrack.
This pink powerhouse was home to a twin-turbo engine capable of up to 800hp.
Developed from the Porsche 956, it had a powerful predecessor and was made to mean business.

This 1989 Porsche 962c is pink, loud, and fast
It’s no secret that Porsche dominates the supercar sphere, and this masterpiece from the ’80s is testimony to that fact.
A 1989 Porsche 962c was captured tearing up the track by YouTube content creator Alwin SV.

“The Porsche 962 was a variant, introduced in 1984, of the Porsche 956 developed in 1982 for the FIA Group C, which also met the stipulations of the American IMSA race series,” stated Porsche itself.
The new chassis of the Porsche was used by both teams, and the car using technology that complied with Group C was dubbed the Porsche 962C.

The fact that the pink car was capable of producing 800hp proved that it was a force to be reckoned with on the track. And it brought with it a serious need for speed.
Content creator Alwin SV also noted that the car was known as ‘Pinky’ and was even driven by Formula 1 champion Damon Hill.
And once you see it in action on the Spa Francorchamps track below, you’ll be in awe.
Porsche paved the way for modern supercars
After being established in the 20th century, the car company has simply gone from strength to strength.
Let’s face it, most of us want one, everyone who’s anyone and into cars has one, and those lucky enough to own one pay enormous attention to keeping it pristine.
In fact, the cars are considered such such precious cargo that a Pink Porsche GT3 RS was given five-star Emirates treatment on an A380.
Plus, if that wasn’t enough to show the high regard that the cars are kept in, then maybe the time that one gearhead craned their 1957 Porsche 58 storeys into a Vancouver penthouse will show you dedication.
You can take a look at the pink Porsche in action below, thanks to Alwin SV.
