Imagine a concept car sitting untouched for over 12 years – that’s exactly what ‘Bright Idea’ was.

Despite being a 12-year-old model, the concept car looked futuristic.

Plus it looked virtually brand new.

There were no signs of damage, rust, or cracked seats, and it was bought for just $1,500.

Buying a $2 million Concept car for $1500

The story of the car was featured on the YouTube channel LegitStreetCars, where the owner shared his incredible find.

Not unlike when explorers found a secret three-building barn find hiding millions of dollars worth of cars.

The concept car, which originally cost around $2 million to develop, was bought for a minimal amount, making the purchase even more exciting.

Interestingly, the Bright Idea concept car even made its appearance in an episode of VINwiki, a popular creator sharing incredible stories revolving around the automotive world.

As the owner explored the car, he was surprised by the interior.

Not only was it futuristic for its time, but it was as if you were looking at the interior of a brand new unit.

On exploring further, he found another surprise at the back – a large mold of clay matched the car’s design perfectly.

There was another smaller clay model as well, imitating the vehicle.

The bonnet told a different story

While most of the car was in excellent condition, the bonnet told a different story – like this Dodge Super Bee that had something unexpected under its hood.

It was stuffed with what looked like cotton, possibly left by rodents over the years.

Strangely, no signs of rodents were found during the cleanup, making the mystery of the bonnet even more curious.

The car was taken to a garage using a trailer because, of course, it had a dead battery after sitting for so long.

The first attempt to start it was a bit scary, as it made a loud noise that freaked out the new owner.

But after several attempts and some fixes, the car finally roared back to life and had its first drive in 12 years. The owner shared this thrilling experience in another video.

The forgotten concept vehicle finally found a new home after waiting for years.
