A $420k Bentley craned to rooftop height of this Michelin-starred chef’s restaurant will make for a unique dining experience.

Diners at the luxury resort ‘La Réserve ‘in Knokke-Heist, Belgium, will now get to enjoy a Bentley Continental GTC as they eat.

Nick Bril’s restaurant is playing host to the $420,000 car for the foreseeable future.

If you want to see it, you’ll have to bring your appetite and a ton of cash, as this restaurant isn’t cheap.

Bentley craned to rooftop of an ultra fancy restaurant in Belgium

The Bentley Continental GTC Black Edition was lifted up six floors to make it to the restaurant of Michelin-starred chef Nick Bril.

Bril’s restaurant, ‘Celestial’, opened up within La Réserve’s penthouse setting, after he recently closed his two-Michelin-starred restaurant, ‘The Jane’ in Antwerp.

The vibe with Celestial is that it’s meant to be exclusive.

With a tasting menu that costs upwards of $420 per person, that should come as no surprise.

The GTC Black Edition certainly looks luxurious, but it won’t get to put its 680 PS powertrain to use whilst sitting up on the roof.

La Réserve, owned by real estate magnate Bart Versluys and entrepreneur Marc Coucke, has set itself apart as a place where ‘experiences’ matter just as much as the amenities.

And if eating whilst looking out of the Belgian coast, with a Bentley by your side, isn’t a worthwhile experience, we don’t know what is.

Cars are taking to new heights all the time

This isn’t the first time that we’ve seen a car getting craned up – but let’s face it, it’s cool every time.

There was this 1957 Porsche that headed up 58 floors to a Vancouver penthouse.

For a rare muscle car, it was 30 feet, and for a Chinese billionaire’s Rolls-Royce Ghost, it was 44 floors.

However high these cars are heading, it makes for a great spectacle.

It’s also a handy way of saying you’ve got more money than you know what to do with.

Because let’s face it, renting out a crane isn’t cheap.

And if you have a penthouse apartment that can fit a car in its living room, you’re doing very well.
