Hyundai has finally revealed the second model in its Ioniq EV lineup – the hotly-anticipated Ioniq 6.

The company is calling it an ‘Electrified Streamliner’.

It’s a sleek four-door fastback and it will be the most aerodynamic car Hyundai has ever made.

Drawing on the success of the Ioniq 5, the Ioniq 6 features a design that’s all centered around its unique cocoon-shaped interior.

It’s designed entirely around driver and passenger comfort and convenience.

To aid this, it features a perfectly flat floor and door cards that make the interior feel more spacious.

The interior is made up of sustainable materials as well, including vegan leather and recycled plastic bottles and fishing nets.

Two 12-inch displays sit in front of the driver for the instrument cluster and infotainment display.

And there’s also another screen on each side of the dashboard for the car’s digital rear-view mirrors.

The interior is also brightly lit with 64-color ambient lighting.

Plus, there are six preset color themes “developed by color experts” for “optimal relaxation and comfort”.

Additionally, four ‘Pixel Lights’ also feature in the middle of the steering wheel for the driver to interact with the car through.

This Pixel Light theme is what defines the Hyundai Ioniq 6, with 700 such lights in its headlights, taillights, and interior.

It also has an incredibly low drag coefficient of 0.21 which is made possible by its low nose, active aero flaps, and boat-tail inspired rear end.

The full launch of the Hyundai Ioniq 6 is slated for next month when full specifications will be revealed.

This includes a full list of features, technologies, and of course its performance and price.
