Tesla Cybertruck has revealed its true power as it pulled a Ford F150 out of a snow mound – and it’s pretty impressive.

Posted to social media, the caption beneath the video paints the picture of what happened.

It explains that they were behind the wheel of the Cybertruck and described the rescue as “impromptu”.

The Ford driver’s struggle with traction control and a possible lack of a rear locker was also mentioned.

Despite the fact that the Tesla Cybertruck got the Ford F150 out of a sticky situation seemingly effortlessly, there was debate in the comments about the conditions behind it.

Posted on YouTube by Cars9to5, it highlights the Cybertruck’s power and utility on a tricky and slippy surface.

And you can check it out in the video above.

However, skeptics in the comments dismissed the video as “staged”.

Others doubted the severity of the situation.

“Hmm, I don’t know how could an F150 couldn’t make it.. it doesn’t look stuck, and the snow doesn’t look deep,” said one.

A third said that it would be the same if the cars were in the opposite positions.

“Don’t know how nobody’s pointed this out but the cybertruck is on pavement. Swap the trucks around and you would achieve the same result. The fact that tesla fanboys are grasping at this as a W is hilarious,” they said.

It’s led to discussion about the portrayal of EVs in the mainstream media – especially with a Ford 350 truck receiving a lot of praise when the roles actually were reversed.

According to the driver, the truck got stuck due to a ‘software issue’.

The Ford was widely praised across numerous news outlets for a similar feat.

It seems EVs in general have had a bit of trouble in the recent cold snap.

However, this Cybertruck with wild track modification certainly had no problems.

And the EV pickup has proven itself while undergoing challenges on social media – like how far it can go towing 11,000lbs.
