A TikToker uncovered an abandoned Acura NSX rotting away in the woods, in the middle of nowhere.

This is a rare and sought-after car, and it isn’t particularly cheap these days if you want to buy one.

For one reason or another, it seems people keep finding abandoned cars worth a lot of cash in all kinds of environments and places.

Not that long ago, somebody unearthed an abandoned Audi R8 Spyder that looked new after the restoration.

Then, around the same time, another guy discovered a Lamborghini Aventador that had been ‘left for dead’ in a forest in Asia and no one knows why.

The list goes on.

Speculation aside, we usually never find out what happened in most cases.

Why somebody would choose to leave these amazing cars behind remains unclear.

What does seem clear, though, is that these cars are generally worth a lot of money.

And the fact that it takes a lot of work to get them to work again doesn’t really change that.

That’s definitely the case with the Acura NSX that the TikToker – who goes by the name Abandoned Findings – found abandoned in the woods.

Guess it’s not just a snappy name, then?

The Honda NSX, sold as Acura NSX in the US, was unveiled in 1990 and was designed to go like a Ferrari, but without costing Ferrari money.

The first-gen NSX, which is what this is, ran on a 3.0-liter V6 engine or a 3.2-liter V6 depending on the model, with power between 270 and 290 hp.

So, pretty high-performance stuff, then.

The car you see here – dirt aside – appears to be in good condition.

When the restoration is complete, this will easily go for six figures.

When a car as in-demand and as rare as this one comes to the market, people will be queuing up to part with their hard-earned money to get their hands on it.
