The McLaren 750S is undoubtedly the automaker’s lightest and most powerful production car yet.
To honor its legacy, McLaren’s official dealer in the UAE capital, Abu Dhabi Motors, hosted a high-octane event.
McLaren customers, supercar fans, and enthusiast drivers from various locations took part in the event to push the 750S to its limits.

An event to celebrate a supercar sounds exciting, right?
Well, the McLaren 750S is a car worthy of a celebration.
Packing a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine, it can sprint from 0 to 100km/h (0 to 62mph) in 2.8 seconds.
Likewise, the 750S is better than its predecessor, the 720S, which was McLaren’s previous ‘best’ production car.
The British automaker’s primary goal was to create a car even mightier than the 720S, which it achieved by a huge margin.
The racing event in Abu Dhabi was a grand spectacle as it attracted enthusiasts from around the world.
Amongst those present were Oliver Webb, winner of the ‘Dubai 24hrs in a McLaren 720S GT3’, and Joe Osborne, a European GT4 champion.
The professionals – as well as a few other keen drivers – took the McLaren 750S to an airport runway.
There, they were able to take it to the limit because a runway is pretty much the only place that this car can be pushed to the highest extremes of performance.
“It gives us immense pleasure to bring our esteemed guests to this ideal location to experience the unparalleled performance of the 750S, the most powerful series production McLaren to date,” Abu Dhabi Motors CEO Syed Faiz Karim said.
He added: “Only the expansive tarmac of an active airport runway can offer the space required to truly understand the power of the 750S.”
Abu Dhabi Motors held a series of high-speed driving challenges and races.
With a car that produces 740bhp, it would be a pleasure driving in an all-McLaren race like this.
Truly, this was a moment of glory for the 750S.
Supercars like the McLaren 750S look best when they are speeding on tracks rather than sitting in a garage.
While it may be the automaker’s finest production car, it’s certainly not the most exciting one in its full line-up.
McLaren is all set to debut its P18 hypercar later this year.
It’s an engineering marvel that will break records when it arrives.
