A Belgian car dealer couldn’t believe his luck when he came across an abandoned garage filled with 22 ‘mint condition’ supercars.

Xavier Molenaar received a call from the garage’s owner, asking him to come down and take a look at the cars.

Why this un-named owner decided it was the right time to part ways is unclear.

But his loss is mostly certainly Molenaar’s gain.

The treasure trove inside this abandoned garage

There are 16 Ferraris and six Porsches, each in tip-top condition.

The crème de la crème of the bunch is a yellow-and-black Ferrari 365 GT4 BB, which can fetch up to seven figures in the open market.

But that isn’t the end of it – there’s also the eye catching 1989 Ferrari Testarossa, decked out in a gorgeous Blue Sera paint.

The cars aren’t just a display of impressive craftmanship, they have stories behind them too.

For example, among them is a Porsche 911 which was apparently involved in a bank robbery in Italy.

How such a car ended up in the garage in the center of Brussels is less clear.

Other cars featured in the line-up include a Ferrari 550 Maranello, a Ferrari 575M, and a Ferrari F512 M.

Another Ferrari owner – a F1 driver, in fact – had his Ferrari F512 M returned to him three decades after it was stolen.

What sets this garage of supercars find apart

It’s not uncommon for classic cars to be found tucked away after so many years.

What is uncommon is for the cars to have held up so well.

Over the border in France, this barn find turned up $52 million worth of cars, but they were all in varying states of decay.

It then stands to reason that this Brussels garage will fetch even more when it comes time to auction.
