Imagine buying a huge piece of land – 500 acres, to be exact – and being told that an old car might be hidden somewhere on the property.

That’s exactly what happened to one couple, who were intrigued by the idea of a Pontiac Chieftain waiting to be found.

But with so much land, finding the car wasn’t an easy task – it was like a hiking adventure for them.

The video of this exciting hunt was uploaded by a YouTube channel named Lumnah Acres.

Abandoned Pontiac Chieftain discovered

As they searched, they came across moose and rabbit tracks, making the experience even more adventurous.

To remember their route, they tied ribbons on trees, marking the path they were taking.

After crossing a small water stream and pushing through a snowy trail, they finally discovered the abandoned Pontiac Chieftain.

However, the car was in rough shape.

It had clearly been sitting there for years, with rust eating away at it, both inside and out. Even the logo on the back was missing.

The whole car was covered in snow, including the hood. However, despite its condition, the couple was excited by their find.

The man was especially interested in the car’s chrome design, pointing out that such details aren’t commonly seen anymore.

The car has surprisingly low mileage

It took a while for them to realize it was a Pontiac Chieftain, as it was hard to identify under all the snow.

The tires were gone, and some parts under the hood were missing too.

One surprising detail was that the abandoned Pontiac Chieftain had only 216 miles on its meter.

This meant the car was almost new when it was abandoned, though nature had now claimed it.

Who left the car there and why, remains a mystery, but the discovery was certainly thrilling for the couple.
