Imagine being an American entrepreneur and then forgetting you’d bought a boat for $250,000 after buying two yachts.

American entrepreneur Sean Frimpong, who’s also a successful author, bought a luxury boat around three years ago, spending $250,000 on the privilege.

Quite remarkably, though, he and his brother Jesse somehow forgot about it, having given their fleet an upgrade.

Thinking nothing of it, they carried on with their lives until they had a shock from the blue and were reminded of their previous boat.

Why the American entrepreneur forgot about the $250k boat

In an Instagram reel, Sean explained the situation around the luxury boat and why they forgot about it.

The pair bought it three years ago, and it had been two years since they were last on it.

But recently, they had notice from authorities that the boat would be disposed of if not moved.

So the two suddenly remembered that they had a $250,000 boat just sitting in a harbor.

It turned out the two had each bought bigger yachts, effectively replacing this one.

When they came to inspect it, they were surprised that the boat hadn’t rotted away or sunk.

What they did find, though, was dead fish on the top and bottom decks, as well as plenty of rust.

The boat had just sat in a harbor by itself

Very little had changed on the boat during the time it was left on its own.

It was a sizeable vessel, with reasonably sized bedrooms and bathrooms.

Both the upper and lower decks were pretty spacious as well.

As they hadn’t been on it for a year, the interior was quite bare due to them buying two new, bigger yachts.

In the video, the two brothers were clearly surprised by the fact that it was still in the water.

Sean was amazed that the condition was as good as it was after they had found the vessel.

The big question is what they do with it next?

They could sell it or let it be disposed of, or perhaps refit it and give it another try.
