Aston Martin has launched the Vanquish to start a new era of automotive innovation.

Limited to under 1,000 units being produced a year, this car will be extremely exclusive.

With a Twin-Turbo V12 engine at the heart of this beauty, the Vanquish weds together performance and style.

This is the fastest car the British brand have ever produced, capable of reaching speeds of 214mph.

A closer look at the new Aston Martin

The car looks straight out of the Fast and Furious movies, with carbon fiber bodywork and a panoramic glass roof.

Its interior is super luxurious, with the latest infotainment system available.

The car is available to order now, but the price and allocation details are only available upon request through Aston Martin.

It’s expected the first deliveries will be dispatched in the final months of 2024, according to hypebeast.

Originally, the plan was to create a plug-in hybrid based around a smaller V8 engine.

But Aston’s product boss Alex Long said the team had pushed for a V12.

As reported by Autocar, he said: “To reinvest in the V12 is a bit of an eyebrow raiser, but we believe there’s life and demand left.”

“It has gone from being ‘just that other engine option’ to something that is truly heralded.”

Ultimately, this revival kept the engine layout that has long been a mainstay of Aston Martin cars.

We say revival because this isn’t the first time the company has used the Vanquish namesake.

The original Vanquish was launched back in 2001 as a successor to the Virage and became the flagship car for many years.

The Vanquish – a car for a ‘new generation of connoisseurs’

The new Vanquish will replace the DBS, Aston Martin’s top GT (Grand Tourer), which was retired last year.

Aston Martin’s Executive Chairman, Lawrence Stroll, said: “With the introduction of Vanquish we have crowned Aston Martin’s next-generation sports car portfolio.”

“A true halo model in every respect, Vanquish makes an emphatic statement.

“One that further delivers on our mission to create the most potent, most beautiful, and most exciting cars in the ultra-luxury sports car market.

“As such Vanquish is the truest of Aston Martins. Immaculately designed and impeccably engineered it sets extraordinary new standards of performance, style, and luxury for a new generation of connoisseurs.”
